The Skilled Worker category is for international skilled workers who have education or training and employment
experience in a professional, technical, trade or other skilled occupation
Semi-Skilled Worker in select tourism/hospitality occupations, and food processing occupations.
Major Requirements for applicants
- Two years of full-time work experience required in the skilled occupation.
- An offer of indeterminate, full-time employment from an eligible B.C. employer
- The business must be established in British Columbia with at least one year operating time
- The business must already have permanent, full-time employees
Major Requirements for Employers
Express Entry Bc Streams – Enables the province to nominate qualified candidates for admission to Canada under the federal Express Entry.
Entrepreneur Immigration –
It aimed at high net worth individuals who wish to invest and operate a business in British Columbia and eventually settle in the province.
Applications consider the number of factors, including:
- Personal net worth and source of funds
- Business and/or work experience
- Adaptability
- Business proposal that proposed investment and job creation in B.C.
The BC PNP takes 2-3 months processing time for nomination applications under Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC.
The BC PNP Tech Pilot
This allows British Columbia immigration officials to further the processing of immigration candidates for in-demand technology occupations and prioritizes technology sector applications under existing BC immigration streams. Candidates must meet the requirements of the British Columbia immigration category. All streams have their eligibility requirement so the candidate must aware of all the requirements before apply.
