Ontario Human Capital

– This category enables OINP to nominate candidates who have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to Ontario’s economy and labour market. It is comprised of three Express Entry streams and two international student streams.

1. Education – All candidates must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree from Canada.
2. Language Proficiency – All candidates must have read, write, listen, and speak in either English or French at a language level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7.

• Work Experience – All candidates are required to have a minimum of 12 months of work experience in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) level 0, A, or B occupation in the five years before the date of the Ontario Notification of Interest.
• Express Entry score – All applicants must ranking System score of 400 points or greater, and this score must remain throughout provincial processing
• Intention to Live in Ontario – All candidates for Ontario immigration intend to reside in the province
• Funds for Settlement – All PNP Ontario candidates must have sufficient funds that can be used to getting settled. These funds must be demonstrated by bank statements.

Ontario Employer Job Offer – Interested individuals may apply under this category only if they have the support of an Ontario employer who has extended to them a full-time indeterminate job offer.

Minimum Requirements for Employers

The employer must have been inactive business for at least three years

Have business premises and comply with all provincial labour laws

Minimum Requirements for the job offer

• Job offer must meet the wage rates for the occupation in Ontario.
• It must not affect the settlement of any labour dispute or the employment of any person involved in such a dispute.
• The position must meet be at NOC level 0, A, or B level.
• It must be for a permanent, full-time position (minimum 1,560 hours of paid employment in 12 months).

Ontario Business – Ontario Business is operated by the province of Ontario. Ontario Business includes one active immigration stream which targets foreign nationals seeking to invest significant amounts in the establishment of new business development in Ontario.
