Post-graduation work permit
The postgraduate work permit is the best program for those international students who want a valuable Canadian work experience after graduation. Also, this program helps foreign students to transition from temporary resident status to permanent residency in Canada. A post-graduation work permit can be granted for a maximum of three years. International students can only receive one Post-Graduation Work Permit from IRCC
Eligibility for (PGWP) Post-graduation work permit
- Students must be graduate from a full-time academic, or professional program.
- Provide proof of completion of the study program
- Required a valid study permit
- Completed studies in Canada at least eight months long at an eligible Post-Secondary Institute
- Deadline to Apply: 180 Days after obtaining a transcript
